SBA’s comprehensive approach to this Life Plan Community focused on modernizing the existing infrastructure and elevating the day-to-day resident experience by providing more modern amenities. At the residents’ request, SBA introduced a new bar & lounge, enhanced casual dining and a Grab & Go area for those seeking a quick bite without the wait.
The existing dining area involved a closed off room with one means of entry, creating bottlenecks and dead-end congestion. The enhancements done by SBA ensured that this spatial circulation informed the final plan; the design intentionally directs resident traffic to prevent congestion ensuring ease of access via a linear bar with an entry and exit point. After easily grabbing a bite to eat, residents can enjoy their food in upgraded casual dining that overlooks the pool area with live entertainment.
