Location: Ames, Iowa
Located at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Highway 30 in Ames, this new Career Academy provides classrooms and laboratories to aid in vocational training of high school students in central Iowa. Students come to this facility from the surrounding high schools to learn:
- Nursing
- Computer technology
- Auto mechanics &, auto collision repair
- Building trades
- Culinary arts
This building demonstrates a true “multi-function” facility that houses shops, labs, and a full service food preparation and demonstration kitchen. In addition to these specialized labs, there are a number of classrooms, offices and common areas, all of which can serve as multi-purpose spaces.
