Location: Ankeny, Iowa
This conceptual design for the Ankeny Regional Airport was commissioned to attract additional aircraft from Fortune 500 companies in the area and increase private air traffic. Designed to emulate the section of an aircraft wing, this facility has space for the Fixed-base operator, Rental Cars, Offices, Pilot lounge, along with second level conference rooms, lounges and offices. The tower serves and conference space today, and can be adapted for use as a control tower in the future.
